The exhibition “The Roads of Bread” takes place in various parts of Greece and abroad and is inextricably linked to the environment and art, while its aim is to preserve, promote and respect the mother earth and the cultural heritage of our country. Cereals, such as an important commodity of the earth for the folks of the world and also a sacred product of the Mediterranean, are best reflected in this exhibition. The cultivation of the land, ploughing, sowing, harvesting, milling and baking transform bread into a work of art. Traditional breads, real works of art based on customs (in the cycle of life and the cycle of time) from Greece and foreign countries, are displayed in this exhibition, accompanied by posters and photographs depicting the cultivation of the land.
